You can't beat a great walk in the country and finding that something special to take home and try in a new recipe!
We will take you on a great walk to show you how and when to forage, then take you into the kitchen to show you what to do with it. We hope to send you home a converted forager and with produce to share with family and friends.
If you have always been interested in it, but not brave enough or sure what to do with the wild food you find, then this is the adventure for you!
Foraging can be done all year round but is best from spring until the end of the autumn, with September - October being the most plentiful. That said we have had great food from the spring flowers!
You will learn how to select what to foraging for and how to identify different things you find before we can go into the kitchen and prepare some great tasting food.
Forage to cook, eat or preserve!
Whatever you find on your forage walk depending on the time of year, we will be sure to find a flower, green plant, nut, berry, fungi or meat source to eat for free.
You can make syrups, cordials, preserves, burgers, soups, stews, salads, tea and much more!
