Orienteering is an appealing activity that if presented at the right level can prove exciting to all ages and abilities. We have considerable experience of running Orienteering programmes from introductory sessions to more challenging course for the enthusiast.

It is an excellent way to improve your navigation skills whilst getting good exercise in the Outdoors@hay!

For beginners we can introduce you to the basic skills of using a map on a simple course to get you in to the swing of things. When you are confident of your skills you can progress to longer more challenging courses in more remote areas.

If you are confident with maps and feel you want more of a challenge we can work at improving your navigation skills by introducing how to use a compass, reading contours, route selection etc

Why not try something different and fun like orienteering on a bike or our team mashing challenge!

Is orienteering for you?

Orienteering is always best undertaken by splitting a group into small teams or pairs, so cautious participants can be put alongside more confident individuals. The pace and route is then set by you and your instructor will not be far to provide support.

Why not book accommodation with us to make your adventure complete?
