Hay Outdoor Training is led by Mick Collins who is able to provide a personal service and has the experience to give a professional service to our customers. We provide visitors with exciting days in the outdoors undertaking activities from our wide range of pursuits.

Groups of up to eight are ideal, although we can take up to a maximum of 12. For safety reasons more than 8 requires extra an instructor and will reflect in the cost. We also have an age limit of about 8-10 yrs, this is not a hard rule as it depends on the activity, but is a guide to the size needed to be for the safety equipment to fit correctly.

This is achieved by effective risk management and a wealth of experience within a small team of staff, highly qualified in their respective fields that pride themselves in delivering a professional service.
Mick Collins is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and our license no. L5992/R1360 which can be confirmed by calling the Licensing Authority on 029 20 755 715 or visiting their web site.
We have public liability insurance through Jardine Lloyd Thompson to the sum of £5 million.
The advantage of our small business is that you have daily contact with Mick as your Instructor, which enables small changes to be made to your programme if required or should you have any queries.
